Claus is a seasoned technology executive with over 20 years of leadership experience at SAP SE, driving high-growth businesses and large-scale transformations in Software Sales, Services, Customer Success, and Operations.

Since moving to Singapore in 2013, he has led fast-growing and emerging markets, serving as COO for SAP India Subcontinent, President of Southeast Asia, and leader of the Midmarket segment across Asia Pacific & Japan. Most recently, he led the Cloud Success Services organization in the region, overseeing customer adoption, renewals, and SAP Services.

Claus advises multiple PE/VC-backed tech companies in Asia and Latin America and has held several directorships, including SAP Asia and SAP India. Passionate about mentorship and diversity, he mentors emerging female tech talents and began his career as a lecturer at Copenhagen Business School.

He holds an M.Sc. in Supply Chain Management from Copenhagen Business School, with MBA coursework at IIM Bangalore, and executive education from Stanford, INSEAD, and IMD.

Christian is a results-driven leader with over 19 years of experience at SAP, specializing in Finance, Controlling, and Business Operations. With deep expertise in services and cloud business models, he has a proven ability to drive operational excellence, foster innovation, and lead high-performing teams across the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.

As Vice President and Regional Head of SAP Services Business Operations and Head of Cloud Operations Asia Pacific & Japan, Christian led a team of over 30 analysts, driving initiatives that streamlined processes, boosted sales productivity, and enhanced customer satisfaction. Known for aligning strategy with execution, he is a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams, focusing strongly on a customer value based business steering approach.

Having lived and worked in Germany, Japan, Australia, and Singapore, Christian combines a global perspective with a deep understanding of diverse markets. Fueled by a passion for data and analytics, he blends strategic vision with hands-on leadership to deliver impactful results.

Christian holds a degree in International Business Administration from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Mannheim, Germany.
